Steel Grit
Thomas Abrasives Cast Steel Angular Grit is produced by crushing specifically heated shot pellets. Service characteristics depend upon hardness selection.GP Steel Grit: Angular when new, this grit rapidly rounds off in use and is particularly suited to descaling applications.
GL Steel Grit: Although harder than GP Steel Grit, GL also looses sharp edges during shotblasting and is particularly suited to descaling and surface preparation applications.
GH Steel Grit: with maximum hardness, GH remains angular in the operation mix. It does not shatter readily yet has a fast, effective etching action, making it ideal for deep descaling and etched surface requirements. For use mainly with compressed air equipment.

Steel Shot
Thomas Abrasives Steel Shot is a spherical product of hyper-eutectoid steel which has been fully heat treated. It has a uniform structure of finely tempered martensite to provide optimum resilence and resistance to fatigue.This is the most important abrasive for the majority of wheel blast applications. Its durability and resistance to impact fatigue provide maximum cleaning efficiency at the most economical cost.
